Awe and Axios
Yesterday our parish, St. Barnabas, celebrated the 20th Anniversary of our parish entry into canonical Orthodoxy as well as the 20th Anniversary of our clergy's ordination. Bishop Joseph came to our parish and celebrated the liturgy. At the end of the service he had a surprise for all of us. Our beloved Bishop elevated Fr. Michael Reagan to the rank of Archpriest. If you know Fr. Michael, you know the news of his elevation resounded in your heart with, "Axios!", for truly the holy priesthood has found a worthy man.
